Saperatec has successfully demonstrated the separation of aluminium-free polymer-polymer multilayer films. In collaboration with Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers (MCPP), a separation process was designed by saperatec to delaminate polyethylene-polyamide multilayer-structures containing MCPP’s unique high gas barrier resin Nichigo G-PolymerTM. This offers a way to recover valuable secondary raw materials.
The promising results were presented by Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers (MCPP) at UBE Change & Challenge Conference from 22nd to 24th February 2021. More than 900 experts were brought together to discuss about sustainable Performance Packing and to present their innovations on the way to a circular economy.
